My brake lights don't illuminate when I press the brake pedal. However the tailights work. I checked the bulb and there are two separate filiments, which both apperar to be good in every bulb. The fuses are all good. I also noticed that my gear shifter now does not lock into park when the car is off. I was wondering if the brake switch can or does effect both of these matters.
