1992 Volvo 240 car won't start

Just replaced the upper half of the motor on this vehicle, along with 2 fuel pumps, fuel filter and fuel relay, and it will not stay running, it turns over with starting fluid, but them dies out. HELP!!!

Thanks for the donation.

If the engine starts up and dies off when cranking, it could be due to some sensors or wire couplers that have bad contact.

Vacumn leakages would cause the engine not to idle.

Does keeping the accelerator pedal depressed keep the engine running?

If the engine won't start unless starting fluid is used,

Check if the injectors are getting power supply.

Test the fuel rails for fuel pressure.
