Engine Mechanical problem
1989 Volvo 240 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have no problem loosening the alternator and power steering belts, but the AC compressor is driven directly from the crankshaft pulley and has no belt adjustment bracket. Do I need to remove the compressor and mounting bracket from the engine, or just the clutch pulley from the compressor?

Haven’t seen one in years

that will allow you to remove the belt
