1989 Volvo 240 Headlights Flickering

Ever since about 2 months ago my headlights worked perfectly until I began to notice them flickering a little. Both of them at the same time so I figured its not a bulb but rather some type of wiring. However, when I turn on the brights the flickering stops. I hope there is just a loose connnection however I dont real know where to look. Any advice or suggestions could be helpful :)
