engine quits for no reason while driving . some times
it will start back up, (after sitting) or turn key several times on & off to start again.
SORRY ABOUT A DONATION , YOU SEE I"M RETIRING & TRYING TO GET TO ATLANTA FROM LAFAYETTE,LA. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN.

Start your car... pop your hood &see the wire that leads from the center of your distribuator cap... follow that up.. on my 87 240 its on the right side... there are a few wires...move them...did the car cut off? If so... its just a loose wire. Same thing happened to me.


or if you are low on oil the car will do the same

also take your distribuator cap off & see if its wet inside.. easy to replace.. bout 8.00 & if you do that change the rotor cap also.
