1985 Volkswagen Van 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have VW based sandrail with a 3-rib bus IRS transaxle. I need to replace an inner cv joint boot. How is this done? Chuck

first of all you will have to remove the axle, once you have it off on the very end there is a C clip that will need to be removed and the whole CV joint will come off with the boot, remove the boot replace, make sure the job goes back together with new Grease.
