When I engage my car on D, it can not move. i have to wait for a while before it engage and then select normal.

have you checked the transmission fluid? why do you have to select normal mode, why don't you just keep it in normal operation mode? when did this begin from one day to the next? tell me a little bit more so I can assist you.
