The car used to work perfectly. I get regular oil changes. When I merge into traffic and depress the accelerator, the engine misfires, you can feel the pausing, like the cylinder, is not firing. I do my fuel MPG on EVERY tank and there is not a significant loss in mileage.

Thank you in advance for your advice !

If you give me an answer and it corrects my problem, I'll make a donation, if not, I'll think it as just another scam that I have seen all through my life.

Do you have a check engine light?

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
