I took the vehicle described above to a local workshop to check the head for damage as I was using water. It was advised that the head was
cracked and that I needed a replacement. The vehicle was running perfectly - showing no loss of power before I authorised them to go ahead and
replace the head. This was done about 3 weeks ago but the vehicle has stil not been returned to me as it now appears to be possibly running in safe mode.

The workshop has in turn sent the vehicle on to the agents and then to a diagnostic workshop specialising in diesels. I have now been told that everything appears to be normal when connected to the diagnostic computer and they have completed all their physical electrical, turbo and fuel tests
but they do not know why it has no power.

Has anyone experienced something similar and what was the answer to their problem as my local experts appear to be at a loss for an answer.

The problem is they knew absolutely nothing about diesels, most likely when they remove the head they did not get the timing set correctly on the head or the injection pump better take it to a diesel expert if you can find one, if not you will have it to me, but I am in Utah
