This car has had all the required maintenance at the appropriate intervals, including the timing belt at 96000and an oil change last week. I tried to pass someone the tranni kicked down somewhat roughly and the the engine revved really high and faltered, we pulled to the side of the road and put it in park it stalled popped the hood and tried to crank it, oil came up out of the dipstick along with puffs of smoke, there is oil in the engine compartment that seems consistent with it having been expelled from the dipstick as well as the oil fill port. It started oncce briefly and we turned it off it has not started since though we have cranked it several times. I dont think they overfilled it at the last oil change because it ran well for a few days, one trip of 120 mi. After the service. I know that compression from the cylinders is getting into the crankcase. Someone suggested bad injectors filling the crankcase with fuel, but I dont think that is correct because it happened instantly and I have had bad injectors on my truck and it leaked a lot more than this also it ran mostly normal it just consumed more fuel. I think maybe a connecting rod is broken anf the compression is going through that cylinder. Could something have gone wrong with the timing belt service to produce these symptoms?
