I WAS WONDERING HOW I WOULD GO ABOUT CHECKING THE OIL IN THE TRANSMISSION ON OUR 2001 JETTA TDI, OR EVEN CHANGING THE OIL.

the transmission oil in that particular vehicle is a lifetime oil and does not need to be changed, the onboard computer will tell you if it's low.
