The other day I was taking a 30 minute long drive when I noticed that my oil light was blinking as well as my battery light was staying on and my RPM wasn't registering (none where pre existing). I have called several VW dealerships all suggest that I get the car towed in and checked. I was wondering if you guys may have any suggestions on what it may be; fuse, alternator, wiring ECT. Unfortunately I'm a University student with little spending money, so cheapest route would be best.

Get the alternator load tested and have the oil pressure check
