Transmission problem
2004 Volkswagen Rabbit Front Wheel Drive Manual

I have a VW Caddy Van. All the gears are fine except for 5th. It keeps slipping out whenever i give even a slight but of acceleration. Can anyone help please?

first of all I do not know what a "VW Caddy Van" is? are you talking about a Vanagon? if you hold the transmission in fifth gear can you continue to go? if you can it maybe just an adjustment on the linkage. when you put the transmission in fifth gear does it feel like it's going in all the way?
