1983 Volkswagen Rabbit 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

I am trying to help my brother change a timing belt on his 83 gti, when he was taking the old belt off the pulleys turned and now we are unable to get it back to tdc, to finish this project,,,Help

Sorry for the late response you will need special tools to put it back in timing you should have marked the pulleys before removal
