2001 Volkswagen Polo doesnt work

many mechanics say the pump is dead, others say the whole system is down. since i imported it from japan, the ac has never worked. gas was there but no whirring sound of the pump was heard. even when it was replaced with another functional one... i dont know if its possible to get one that is original.

hi try going to a scrap yard and get pump from their, and try that and at least that way you not waisting too much money.
