Just replaced the bank 2 O2 sensor on my passat, which the code told me was bad, but the check engine light stayed on. Cleared the code again and after restarting the car the check light came back on. Any help would be great.

I might have been mistaken in saying bank 2. It was the sensor behind or at the cat. Not the one right on top or in the head. The car has a 1.8 turbo. thanks
