Hi there, my problem is that my car vibrates during accelerating, mostly felt with 3rd gear between 2000-3000rpm. Shakes even with other gears but not that notable as the 3rd one. Shakes only when accelerate, when I take my foot off the accelerator, shaking stops immediately.I don't feel the vibrations through the steering wheel or the accelerator, only through the gearbox. The gear stick shakes quite a lot and whole car as well.I asked my mechanic to check it out and he diagnosed it as it's faulty left drive-shaft, that we got changed for the new one. This solved my problem from about 30% only, car still shakes.I would really appreciate any advise as I don't want to spend any money till I'm 99% shure what it is.I understand that diagnose car without seeing it is not quite possible, but I would appreciate any clue or some test I can do to find out what that fault can cause. Thank you very much in advance Vasek

Hi Vasek,

I believe the problem is with the driveshafts.

Did you replace the left driveshaft assy or just the CV joints?

Did you check the right side driveshaft inner joint?

Hi there, thank you very much for your swift reply. As I was quite unpatient, I asked my mechanic to change the other shaft as well right before I received your reply, and guess what - no vibrations whatsoever :-) So your diagnose was 100% right even without seeng the car, which just proves your top professionality :-) Thank you very much for your help once again, hope this will heps to some other members of your forum with the same problem, just a little note - no other parts had to be changed, only change of the shafts solved the problem completely :-)

Thank you Vasek
