Unless you have a scan tool and a fluid transfer pump you won't be able to check it.

The scan tool is necessary to monitor the fluid temparature while you remove the inspection plug from the bottom of the pan. You then need the pump to feed fluid up into the hole until it starts to overflow. This all needs to be done with the ATF temparature between 35-45 degrees C. Any colder and you could overfill it and any hotter and it will be underfilled.
