2001 Volkswagen Passat 4 cyl 133000 miles

my oil pressure light is coming on. Could this be a sensor or, the dreded, engine sludge? Is thier an oil additive that can clean up sludge?

I used a Motomaster engine cleaner when doing my oil change (probably STP) put some lucas full synthetic and full synthetic oil, the light went out right after and has not come on again.
