1999 Volkswagen Passat DRL, Lights, Fan and accessories do

My DRL, fan, headlights and accessories do not work. My parking brake light stays illuminated.

Make sure all fuses are good, the main panel is on the driver's side of the dash.

If all are good try turning the ignition on and off. The ignition switch may be bad and not allowing it to stay completely in the running position. I have seen ignition switches fail and give the exact same symptoms in the past.

Thanks for the diagnostics - you wre right on. After checking all the fuses, I brought the car to the dealer. The ignition switch was bad and not allowing it to stay completely in the running position. Everything is working now.
