I have a flat. Jacked up the car, took off the bolts, can't get the tire off?

sometimes due to road salt and corrosion the tires may become difficult to remove, try pounding on them wiht the palms of your hand or wiggingling it back and forth that should break it free. one time i had to use a post maul to get the tires off of a blokes truck.
