1994 VW Jetta, 2.0L/ 1984cc, 5 speed. 93,000 miles.
the oil filler cap turns white after driving for a few days after an oil/ filter change. is there a coolant problem? there are no external leaks around the head gasket. could it be the oil cooler?

Could be due to condensation or the PCV valve is not doing its job. Try this 1st

Before we get into blown headgasket/crack head and block.
