Manual door lock

1999 VW Jetta GL. :roll: :roll: I always lock and unlock the Door Manual. But this time the car door lock will not move. the lock only moves if im inside the car pushing the lock. So the door lock doesnt move Manual. How do I fix this..

Can you better explain this? I don't understand your useage of the word "Manual". Is that manually opening the locks with key and button as opposed to key phob or electric lock button?
