low pressure

long story short...looking into buying a Volkswagon Scirocco '83 MKII one problem...low pressure in one of the cylanders..all i need is a simple answer: what will i need to fix it if i buy and and most importantly: HOW MUCH WILL IT COST???? and how much time will it take?

all i need is a simple answer:

It depends where its leaking pressure at if its below the cylinder head it can get real expensive

If its low they should be able to tell you where its leaking. By doing a compression or leakdown test. This will decide what's needed and how long its gonna take. Parts/Labor
