My 98 VW Jetta has a series of flat buttons across the dashboard to control the on/off AC and Vents.
first one button stopped lighting now the second does not light when depressed.
Are there simply LEDs behind these buttons that can be changed by removing the button covers? Is there something more serious here like a bad fuse or short?
Thanks for the help

You did'nt say wich model, but they may be alike... It seems you have 1 light with a tube that redirects the light to the different buttons, you may need to dissasemble it, and replace the tube, it may have snaped apart...
