Hi have a 1996 Jetta ,
Going over a bridge my jetta got really hard to turn
then the temp lite went on and got really harder to turn .
when I stopped the car , smoke came from the drivers side and green fluid was on the ground
Is this a radiator leak or a power steering fluid leak ?

Considering that VW's use an orange-pinkish coolant it doesnt sound like a coolant leak. More than likely your power steering pump failed. Or your water pump failed. thats also a common problem. If your water pump failed, and you continued to drive it, you may have caused more damage to your engine. But it sounds like a PS pump to me. hope it helps!
