I have a 1994 volkswagon jetta with 97,449 miles
the vechile was given to me and i have started to do some repairs to it but, when i turn the ignation on and trun the rh turn signal it turns the car over(starts it) but if i do not turn off the signal the starter starts to grind. I have only found one cut wire behind the fuse box that was jumped to a hot wire( thinking is hot) what do i do if any thing. also the radio was replace ( non-factory) if this helps any

If it was me I'll find the starting circuit wire on the harness going to the ignition switch cut it off and tap in then take it straight to the starter or relay/solenoid.
