i noticed my car smelled a lot like gas and that my tank would empty a whole lot faster. yesterday i noticed my car was literally pouring out gas from underneath. i had my friend check it out and he said that the top plastic piece of the fuel pump had a crack and was spilling all of my gas. is it possible to just replace the top of the pump (it looks like it's 2 seporate pieces), or would i have to replace the whole pump?

Extra caution must be taken when dealing with gas and fuel leak .

If its leaking from the fuel pump it self you have to replace it as a unit

But check to make sure its not a fuel line
Good luck
