hi i have a volkswagen jetta 2002 1.8t 20 valve
it has 72.000km and i recently got this check engine light and the code reads p-3081 air metering auxiliary emissions controls what is the problem i should be looking
at but yet the car runs just fine

I would start with the secondary Air injection system. It could be a number of things there. Air pump, Vacuum Valve, Check Valve, Fuse, wires, Solenoid, You would just have to go through and check it. Hope this helps!
