99 jetta Spark plug wire sequence

Make : 1999 Jetta gl 2.0 liter 4 door sedan
Has 97,000 miles on it.

I thought I was helping out the other day when I pulled all the old wires out before my dad came to help me. Now I know there is a sequence to the wires and I need to know it so I can get my car back on the road. I bought a VW service book but the damn thing is useless and vague, can anyone help ?

Firing order 1-3-4-2 Hope you get it going My Dad could never help me either! and the Internet was'nt around in the 60's! jUST SO YOU KNOW IT'S UNIVERSAL THAT AS YOU LOOK AT THE ENGINE Sorry bout the caps...it's 1-2-3-4! Let me know how it turns out!
