96 VW Jetta 2.0 , 140K, engine stall

Car started fine and drove 100yds and then stalled. Cranks but will not kick over.

Yes- fuel. Yes- spark. No engine lite.

Need to check for injector pulse.May have fuel pressure, but if injectors dont hit none gets in the engine

correction ! I have no spark.... Belts are fine , fuel is fine. Coil pac perhaps? It is expensive troubleshooting with new parts. Thanks

I know it is,but if there is injector pulse then the PCM is seeing the engine turn and petty much leaves us with the coil pack

Thanks for the help.. Jack. It was the coil pack. It failed two times in 5 years. The mech that saw the car didn't do any electrical work- hence my open questions for which I had no answers. Thanks for narrowing it down (troubleshooting).
