A problem has developed in my VW Bora over the last few days. When depressing the clutch pedal, there is nothing there for about half the travel of the pedal. Then, when the clutch pedal starts to work and kick in, and the pedal is fully depressed, you have to be quite forceful to engage any gear.
Does anybody know if this is a serious problem that will require a replacement clutch and / or gearbox, or if it is a simple case of something needing adjusting?
Any assistance with this query would be greatly appreciated.
