How do I replace the power mirror switch on a 2001 late model passat?

Is there an easy way to remove the front driver's side door panel?

Looks like you remove the door panel and bend the tabs over and push the switch out

This switch is inside of the window switch, here is how to change it out. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
