vw bora 1.9 tdi. my car suddenly lost power and started smoking, i stopped and turned the engine off. when ive tried starting it a red warning light came on saying LOW OIL PRESSURE STOP MOTOR. ive checked oil level and thats ok. can u help plse

Hi there,

Do not drive as you may destroy the engine, get it towed to a workshop who can do an oil pressure test with a master gauge, this will give a true indication as to the engine oil pressure, when this is known, the correct steps can be taken to rectify your problem.
