1999 Volkswagen 4 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Manual 140000 miles
Coolant light was flashing so I topped it up, 2 days later it started overheating and now there is no hot air from heater. Can you help

Hello !
Its the check engine light on?
How about your cat. Converter?
When the honeycomb got clog there is a "lack" of power
Because of the exhaust restriction.
Have your cat. Conv. Check out.

You are losing the coolant/water somewhere. No hot air is due to the fact that there is no water in the heater core to make the air hot. This should be handled soon, overheating the engine can do serious and expensive damage
