Stupidly I had no anti-freeze in my van and the radiator burst when we had frost I got a new radiator and fitted it now I dont have any warm air and the coolant looks like it is boiling could this be my water pump that is needing replaced. I am a plumber and I am thinking along the lines of a centrakl heating system. The van is a V plate 1.6VW Caddy 55kw engine. Many thanks George

First feel both heater core hoses where they go into the fire wall. not back to me if you find one is hot and one isn't, if both are hot, or neither are hot.

also try replacing your thermostat as it is only a 2-5 dollar part. be sure to bleed the system when you are done.
