2008 Volkswagen Jetta Front Wheel Drive Automatic 500 miles

my car makes a sound like a typewriter. It is infrequent, and it seems to be coming from the steering wheel, or at least, in front of the driver's seat. The car is less than 3 wks old, so it shouldn't be regular wear/tear tuneup problems. It is a '08 jetta wolfsburg ed. Any ideas?

Hi there,

It may be a faulty relay chattering, this will be a warranty problem for your dealer.
