I'm having to replace pads and rotors on the rear brakes of my 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg VW. This seems to be a problem for many VW owners. Is there something defectiive with the materials used?

There is no recalls or TSB (technical service bulletin) about this issue for your vehicle. Perhaps the rear has more brake adjusted to it then front. Unusual but then again I have not worked on many VW. Perhaps a call to the VW dealer can clarify what may cause this to occur so often.
