My air bag fault illuminated. Are there any troubleshooting procedures? Do the make an affordable DTC scanner for, a 2006 Jetta TDI. I plan on running this car into the ground more than once. I do my own maintenance, I have the Bently manual but I have'nt seen any help yet but, I am still reading. Thanks Terry

You will have to get a scan done t the indicated fault code will give you the faulty component, as foe a suitable scanner, that i just can't answer as i am in Australia and i am unsure as to what you have over there.
