My car continues to overheat and last week I found oil in the radiator overflow. Thick, brown paste. Was told the heat sender (for turbo?) went out and that it was common problem for this year vw. replaced that only to find that while having radiator flushed (to the tune of $250) that the thermostat was out and that I needed a new cooling fan - this for a mere $900. I just want to know when this will stop and if you have any advice - like it's perhaps a throw away car? It's paid for but I've sunk more money into it than it's worth...
