2003 Volkswagen Jetta 2003 VW Jetta jerks/loses power at qu

About four months ago, we noticed when our car has under a 1/2 tank of gas, usually about a quarter tank, occasionally it will "jerk" and for a brief moment lose power where you're unable to accelerate. We took it into the shop, had the fuel filter, fuel pump, and fuel sender all replaced. But it still has this problem occasionally when low on gas.

Because of the different generations of Jettas having this exact problem (though this specific set of symptoms is not at all the most common). I am presently suspecting the fuel pressure regulator. Appears as if most of the Jettas throughout a few generations used the same FPR.

I'm going to inspect mine today.
