Hello,

The radiator fluid is not staying in the reservoir but is not leaking from the car either. We replaced a cracked flange part that seemed to be causing the leak.

When the reservoir is filled and then the engine started the fluid disappears but does not leak out of the car. Is the thermostat possibly broken?

Car is not overheating, gauge stays @ 190 degrees (right in the middle of the gauge)

Please advise.

Hi delphgirl,

Thank you for the donation.

If the coolant keeps disapearing, there must be a leak somewhere to cause it. A pressure test would be able to determine where the leak is coming from.

If you had just performed repairs to the cooling system, bleeding has to be done to purge the air out of the system. After the coolant level, drops, top it up till it stabilises and retest.
