i have 1999.5 vw jetta the 2000 model the car runs rough when i drive it aaround sometimes it cuts off and wont start right up i would have to wait 45mins to a hour or long to start back up again i was told it was the crank position sensor but i have book for car and cant find it.... pepboys has the part crank position sensor but also has a part called camshaft position sensor i need to know what the propblem is and what is it called thank you

It would be helpful to have the engine size? in liters... There is a CMP(camshaft position sensor) and an engine speed(RPM) sensor, here's the diagram, RPM sensor is in the same location on all VW engines.
