My car is acting up bad it comes and goes. Engine light comes on and off shifts hard and will grind at times comes and goes if I press brake hard on and off and pump clutch on and off it will clear out issue for a short time. car acts like it just doesn't want to go. Now when clutch all the way down foot on break car will make a whining noise like revving rev high low high low then just stop when it does that car does not want to take off in 1st gear shift is hard. It will also do this when putting in reverse sometimes and when it does that it is hard to put into reverse does it more when in reverse then is now does it in reverse more. This can go on an off for a few days then its fine for a few days. Car sat for 3 years I didnt know it carfax did not report issues and I found out car had been wrecked carfax did not report this This car has a lot of electrical issues also latley been ok windows work sometimes other times they dont. car has new plugs oil change slave master cylinder. it is also blowing oil all over underneath. Yep I bought a lemon. When it runs good it runs great but is on and off. i run 89 an once in awhile 93 was told brake fluid is dirty and crud up emergency brake cable rotted and fell off. May want to start with finding out where the oil leak is so you dont run out and hurt the engine. As far as the way it runs, you will need to have the computer scanned for codes to see what the computer thinks is wrong.check under the hood for any hissing (vacuum leaks) repair those as needed.
