One night the car wouldn't start for 30-45 minutes. It would definitely turn over, just not start. This happened every once in a while. Then eventually it started stalling while I was driving. It think this only happened when I had the clutch all the way in so the engine was at idle. I put a new fuel filter, fuel pump and ignition coil in it. None of these fixed the problem.

Update: My repair guy says it's the crankshaft sensor. About $195 parts and labor.

When it doesn't restart, are you getting spark and fuel to the engine?

Can't say for sure. Never had the tools or help in the middle of the road to check. I pretty sure I'm getting fuel. I just got an idea from my brother in law that it might be the spark plug wires. They could be worn out.

They wouldn't have all gone completely bad at one time. You would have experienced a miss first. Somthing tells me you are either losing spark or fuel pressure when it happens. If you need directions as to how to check it, let me know.
