1996 Volkswagen Jetta 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

Car quit while my wife was driving home. Upon inspection, discovered that battery was strong and car was cranking, but won't start, suspect either no spark or no fuel? How to tell which it is?

To test for fuel you have to hook up a a fuel gauge in line with the fuel hose. To test for spark you have to get a spark tester and hook it up between the ignition cable/ignition coil and a ground point or the spark plug.
