My car was leaking what I thought was oil, took it to get the oil changed and they said it was the transmission fluid, it's been leaking for a few months, is adding more fluid something I can do or do I need to take it to a mechanic and how much will that run approximately?

Hi crduskey,

Topping up is not the solution, you need to get it repaired.

It depends on what needs t be done so unable to give you any estimates.
