I own a 95 jetta. I have the thermostat temporarily out. Will it paqss smog inspection? It runs excellent.

Let me ask why you are leaving it out? Just hope it wont cause the coolant temperature sensor to react an pop the CEL when the engine is running while being tested.

I have it out because I had some radiator problems, and took it out to check if it was the thetmostat. It wasn.T and since the problem is resolved, I am due for smog insp. It is such a pain, I would rather get it registered first if poss. Thnx me

Just make sure it pass the bulb test when key at On and no CEL while engine is idling-then go for the test.
