1995 Volkswagen Jetta estimated value Junk or not junk?

I have an 1995 Jetta GL, 4 door. The Engine went out once...i had it rebuilt for 1500...3 months later...the engine failed again...i want to sell it...some are saying it's junk...but otherwise, it's in good condition, but it is a salvaged car...how much do think i can get? or should I just call the junk man?
