1995 Volkswagen Jetta clanking noise when hitting the brake

recently got rotors and pads done on car however when i hit the brake i continue to hear a hitting noise. brake light no longer come on. brakes are fine what could it be...

Hi, it sounds like you have a pad installed wrong, or the backing plate is hitting the rotor, take it back to who did the brakes and have them look at it.
